Hydraulic Structures

One of the primary considerations for any new development is the conveyance and/or storage of storm water. As a result, there has been increased need for hydraulic structures such as culverts, headwalls, and outfall structures. In addition, as Best Management Practices (BMP) regulations have become more stringent, the need for detention structures/junction boxes, which are designed to retain and slow peak flows, has also increased. As our nation’s infrastructure ages, existing facilities must be evaluated to assess their continued functionality. To assist in these evaluations, we can provide condition assessment and structural evaluation services for the strengthening, retrofitting, and/or repair of existing hydraulic structures.
